The fine print, in plain words
What happens to my price after the founding period?
Two things stay locked, for as long as you keep the subscription active. The rate — ₹1,900 plus ₹10 a student, against a list rate of ₹2,300 plus ₹12 — and the roll we counted the day you signed. A founding school that joins at 200 students pays ₹3,900 a year forever, even at 900 students, where a new school that size would pay ₹13,100.
Is the web dashboard extra?
No. The full ERP is on the Android app today; the web dashboard is in development and reaches every paid school free, the day it ships.
Is there a setup fee?
None. Onboarding, class setup and migrating your existing students are included in the yearly price.
What happens if we admit more students mid-year?
Nothing. There is no limit to cross and no plan to jump to. We count your roll once, at the start of the session, and that is your invoice for the year — admit thirty students in November and it does not move. The count is taken again at your next renewal.
Do you charge per staff login?
No. Logins are unlimited at every size — every clerk, teacher and accountant gets their own, which is what makes the audit log meaningful. Charging per login would only push schools into sharing one password.
How do online payments get charged?
The payment gateway (Razorpay) charges its own convenience fee per transaction. Schoolivo takes nothing extra on top of the yearly price.
Can we pay per term instead of per year?
Yes. Talk to us on the demo call and we will split it to match your own fee cycle.
Why is it priced per student?
Because that is what it costs us. A school of 800 sends roughly three times the WhatsApp receipts, reminders and absence alerts of a school of 250, and those are metered by the message. Charging one flat fee would mean small schools paying for messages large schools send.
